Kevin Lam, President & Chapter CoordinatorHe/Him/HisKevin is a second-year ETA placed in Kaohsiung. He identifies as gay and polyamorous. When he is not teaching, you can catch him dancing or studying Chinese while listening to The Daily or podcasts on relationships.His vision is to share space with ETAs, MAs, scholars, and local Taiwanese people. He hopes to exchange stories and witness their queendom; uplift and support them; and of course, get-down and party.

Aaron Niederman is a pansexual/queer first-year ETA placed in Taitung. He is beyond excited to join the Prism team and help foster a community that supports one another and encourages every LGBTQIA+ Fulbrighter to be their full authentic self. His favorite part of being in Taiwan is meeting the local people and learning about the right aboriginal history here. His interests include hiking, biking, yoga, going to concerts, and watching way too many youtube videos.

Amelia Gaither, Research & Education Coordinator

She/Her/Hers

Amelia is a first-year ETA placed in Taipei City. She recently earned a Master's in Applied Linguistics and TESOL at the University of Alabama, and previously studied English and French at Davidson College. Her current research interests include multilingual representation in media, second language identity, and language policy in Taiwan. She enjoys taking her dog on swims, reading, and attempting to cook.
