  • Universidade Federal de Vicosa (UFV)

    • Campus is very LGBT+ friends, you can often see lgbt+ couples walking down the reta holding hands. 

    • About ¼ - ⅓ of Letras students are LGBTQ+ 

  • Although there are no specific LGBTQ+ specific bars/clubs in Vicosa the LGBTQ+ community/ Republicas plans a lot of parties (usually publicized on Instagram and FaceBook):

  • Some great bars that often have a lot of LGBTQ+ folks hanging out there include Teddys and Leao.

  • Most areas of the city are safe, especially the Centro and Ramos neighborhoods. Regardless of how safe the city might be it is always to be aware of what is going on around you.
